All rates are for onsite Auslan interpreting in Melbourne. A 2-hour minimum charge applies to all bookings.

All onsite interpreting bookings have a 2-hour minimum payment. This is standard practice in the interpreting industry and accounts for preparation and travel time.
Travel within Megan's service area (Eastern and South Eastern Melbourne) is included in the hourly rate. For locations outside this area, a travel surcharge may apply.
Interpreting outside standard business hours (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm) may attract an after-hours rate. Contact Megan for details.
Cancellations over 48 hours notice, no charge. Cancellation less than 48 hours notice will be invoiced for full payment.
If you need to make a cancellation, please message Megan on 0416 292 379. Please include your name and booking number in the cancellation message.
If the client fails to attend within 30mins of the booking start time and does not make contact within or before this timeframe, the booking will be cancelled and invoiced for full payment.
Megan's rates align with the NDIS Price Guide. Self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants are welcome to book directly.

When you book directly with Megan, there is no agency taking a cut of the fee. Interpreting agencies typically charge a margin on top of the interpreter's rate. By booking directly, you get the same experienced, NAATI-certified sign language interpreter every time — at a fair and transparent rate. You also build a relationship with your interpreter, which leads to better outcomes for Deaf and hard-of-hearing clients.
